Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal applies to eligible consumer customers (B2C), in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, and only to non-personalized products. Orders placed by professionals, businesses, or other non-consumer customers (B2B) are generally considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Consumers may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery.

To submit a return or withdrawal request, please use our Return Requests form within 14 days of receiving the order. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, submitting the form is the customer's declaration of withdrawal.

After submitting the form, the customer receives confirmation that the request has been received. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of the request only and does not constitute automatic approval of a return, refund, or cancellation. This does not affect the customer's statutory rights where applicable.

The request should include:

  • Customer name
  • Order number
  • Email address for communication
  • Where applicable, the item(s) concerned by the request

Return Instructions

Please do not ship any goods back before receiving return instructions from GHIDINI 1849. Products sent back without prior instructions or authorization may not be accepted.

Return Conditions

After exercising a right of withdrawal or receiving return authorization, the goods must be sent back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the date on which the customer informed us of the withdrawal, unless otherwise instructed or required by applicable law.

Returned items are subject to inspection (including photo and/or video recording) upon arrival. If damage, installation marks, signs of use, or missing components are detected, GHIDINI 1849 may apply an appropriate reduction in value, or decline non-eligible returns where permitted by applicable law.

Returned items must be:

  • Not used beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning
  • Complete with all accessories
  • Properly packed (original packaging or equivalent)

The return shipment is entirely at the customer's expense, risk, and responsibility. The customer remains responsible for the goods until they are received by GHIDINI 1849. A tracked and insured shipping service is strongly recommended.

International Returns (Non-EU)

Returns from countries outside the European Union are not part of our standard policy and may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, subject to prior written approval by GHIDINI 1849.

All approved international returns must be shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Shipments with unpaid duties or charges may not be accepted.

All costs related to shipping, customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees, and any related charges are entirely borne by the customer and are non-refundable.

Refunds

Returned goods will be inspected upon receipt to verify their condition.

For eligible withdrawals under applicable consumer law, refunds will be issued in accordance with the legal timelines and using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed. For other approved returns, the refund will be issued using the original payment method.

Where permitted by applicable law, in case of a partial return that significantly reduces the order value, any shipping costs originally covered by GHIDINI 1849 may be reasonably deducted from the refund.

For sales contracts, GHIDINI 1849 may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer has provided proof of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products made to measure or personalized according to customer specifications
  • Orders placed by professionals or businesses (B2B purchases), which are generally considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing
