Warranty

Products purchased by consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by applicable law.

For purchases made by consumers in the European Union, the legal guarantee lasts at least 2 years from delivery.

If a product is defective or not in conformity, contact us at info@ghidini1849.com, stating:

  • order number
  • the product concerned
  • a short description of the problem

Where useful for the assessment, we may ask for photographs or videos of the product in order to verify the issue and indicate the most appropriate solution.

If the parcel or product shows damage caused during transport, please refer to our Shipping policy for the reporting procedure.

If there is a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled to the remedies provided for by applicable law, which may include repair or replacement at no cost and, where provided for, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

Artisanal products

GHIDINI 1849 products are made and finished through artisanal processes.

Small variations in tone, finish, satin, patina, glass, surface or other details linked to hand work may be natural characteristics of the product and do not automatically constitute a lack of conformity.

The assessment takes into account the characteristics of the product, the chosen finish, the information on the product page and what was communicated to the customer before purchase.

The guarantee does not cover problems arising, for example, from:

  • improper use or use other than that intended
  • incorrect installation
  • modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
  • damage occurring after delivery and not attributable to the product
  • normal wear
  • inadequate maintenance or the use of unsuitable cleaning products

Personalized and made-to-measure products

Personalized or made-to-measure products remain covered by the guarantee in the event of an actual defect or lack of conformity.

Any exclusion concerns the right of withdrawal for a change of mind, not the rights recognized in the event of a defective or non-conforming product.

Professional and B2B customers

For purchases made by companies, professionals or other customers acting in the course of their commercial, business, craft or professional activity, our General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the provisions applicable to B2B sales apply.

The 2-year legal guarantee provided for EU consumers does not automatically apply to B2B purchases.

Purchases outside the European Union

For purchases made outside the European Union, different provisions may apply depending on the country of destination and the applicable law.

Any mandatory rights granted to the customer remain unaffected.

Commercial guarantees

Unless otherwise expressly indicated for a specific product or agreed in writing, GHIDINI 1849 does not offer an additional commercial guarantee beyond the rights provided for by applicable law.
