Warranty

Products purchased on this site are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. For consumers in the European Union it lasts at least two years from delivery. If a product is not in conformity, you are entitled to repair or replacement at no cost.

To report a problem, write to info@ghidini1849.com with your order number, the product and a short description. If possible, attach photos: we will tell you how to proceed.

What it covers

The guarantee applies when, at the time of delivery, the product does not match what was ordered, does not work as intended or does not conform to the information given at purchase.

Our pieces are worked by hand. Small differences in finish, tone or surface are part of artisanal production and, where they fall within normal tolerances, are not a defect.

What it does not cover

Without prejudice to the rights the law gives you, the guarantee does not cover problems arising from:

  • improper use, or use other than that intended
  • installation that does not follow the instructions
  • modifications or repairs carried out by third parties
  • damage occurring after delivery and not attributable to the product
  • normal wear or unsuitable maintenance

How it works

If the legal conditions are met, we repair or replace the product at no cost, including the shipping required. Where the law provides for it, a price reduction or termination of the contract may apply instead.

Made-to-measure products remain covered if they are defective or not in conformity. Only a change of mind is excluded, as set out on the Returns and refunds page.

Professional customers

Purchases by companies and professionals follow our General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The two-year guarantee provided for EU consumers does not automatically apply to B2B orders.

Transport damage

If you notice visible damage on delivery, contact us as soon as possible and keep the product and original packaging until the checks are complete.

Purchases outside the EU

Outside the European Union, different rules may apply under local law. The notice below concerns the rights of European consumers.
