Lipari
A broad hood and finer curves
Lipari separates the generous surface of a domed brass shade from the more intricate drawing of its support. The hood provides a clear outline around the light; curves and scrolls gather above or beside it. The decoration can therefore be noticed in two ways: as a broad shape from a distance and as smaller detail on approach.
On the wall light, a tall bracket gives the scrolls an open frame. Parts of the wall remain visible between its lines, allowing plaster or masonry to join the composition. The ceiling and pendant versions change that relationship with the building: one holds the lamp near its attachment, while the other gives the dome more space beneath a suspended connection.
Taking the silhouette into the garden
The post-mounted designs lift the familiar hood above an upright. A single-light form keeps one distinct outline against planting; a branching arrangement gathers several domes and carries the curved supports into a wider composition. These differences help the family move between more contained and more generous garden settings.
A wall light and a post light can share the same material character while being seen against quite different backgrounds. Near the house, the bracket has the building behind it; further out, the hood and arm are read among leaves, paths and views back towards the architecture.
Within our outdoor lighting, Lipari offers a decorative connection between those settings. Its brass and scrollwork also sit naturally beside the broader rustic and industrial selection. Stone, timber and planting bring their own textures, leaving the lamp’s broad dome and finer curves distinct.
