Mughetto
Mughetto
A flower in the outline
Mughetto develops its botanical character through shaped parts. The white glass opens into a bell or corolla-like form, while curved brass supports and leaf details carry a finer line around it. The glass has the broader surface; the metal gives the design its movement and smaller points of interest.
The wall light concentrates those elements near the architecture. A flower-shaped plate begins the composition, followed by the curved arm and hanging glass. The waved edge and vertical shaping of the shade give the white surface detail of its own, allowing the floral character to remain apparent even against a plain wall.
The motif at different scales
Our table designs bring related glass and brass closer to the furniture, with their own stems and bases. The shade can be appreciated among books, textiles and everyday objects, while the support gives the small composition an organic contour. Differences between the table forms allow that botanical detail to be expressed with a different balance of stem, base and glass.
In the chandelier, the glass repeats around a suspended structure. What is a contained accent at a bedside or on the wall becomes a wider gathering overhead. The branching arrangement lets the family furnish a central area without losing the individual flower-like shades.
Mughetto belongs within our indoor lighting, with decorative forms that can accompany simple timber or painted furniture. Floral fabrics may join that character, but are not needed to explain it: the lamp already carries the motif in its construction. Quiet surrounding materials leave the shaped glass and smaller brass details easy to discover.
