Towel Holders
A coordinated bathroom, with room for different routines
A ring beside the washbasin and a rail near the bath need not be identical in form to belong together. Our brass towel holders belong to families with recurring details across different formats: the circular fittings of Alba, for example, or the leaf ornament of Penelope. That continuity lets you use different formats across the bathroom without choosing every accessory in isolation.
Hanging, folding and keeping towels close
The useful distinction is how the towel rests on its support. A straight rail gives it a broad fold; a ring gathers the fabric into a narrower drop. Beside a basin, that changes both the space the towel occupies and how much clear wall it needs below. A compact fitting does not necessarily mean a compact arrangement once the towel is in place.
Our wall-mounted shelves combine space for folded linen with bars for hanging towels. They serve a different purpose from a single rail: the reserve towels and the one in use can stay together. Freestanding designs offer another arrangement, with a floor base and arms rather than fixed wall brackets. Selected stands combine towel supports with robe hooks or other bathroom accessories; the functions depend on the model.
Where a design has movable arms, their position also forms part of the choice. They can be arranged around the towels in use, but the open arms and hanging fabric still need space. Consider the holder with its towels, rather than judging the empty object alone.
Brass detail, from restrained to richly decorated
Ghidini 1849’s Italian artisanal character appears here in a varied brass collection: plain bars and circular fittings sit alongside rope twists, radial decoration and leafy supports. Towels cover part of the accessory in daily use, so the exposed brackets, arm ends and base often carry the decorative detail. Those are useful points of comparison with the rest of the bathroom.
A restrained fitting can accompany a strongly veined stone or patterned wall; a decorated support can give a quieter surface a more expressive detail. The available finishes vary by model. Antique and bronze satin brass, chrome plating and gold plating offer different colours and reflections, so brass should not be understood as a single golden appearance. Our finishes guide provides a closer reference when coordinating the selection.
