Handmade triplex glass
Handmade triplex glass
The shade is handmade from triplex glass, composed of three layers of glass. This complex craft requires care and skill, creating a solid, durable shade designed to last, with a quality that sets it apart from a simple single-layer glass shade.
Each piece may show small variations and traces of the crafting process:
- Small air bubbles on the surface or within the glass.
- Small specks or inclusions within the glass or between its layers.
- Variations in colour from one piece to another.
- Grinding marks along the edges from finishing the glass.
These details can be more noticeable when the lamp is lit.
