Outdoor Lighting
One design, several places around the home
A lamp chosen for the entrance can be the beginning of a whole outdoor scheme. Several families in our collection continue across different types of fitting, allowing a detail you like to return above the terrace table or along a garden path. This breadth is part of Ghidini 1849’s approach to decorative lighting: an Italian family business working with brass to furnish the home and its surroundings.
Lipari, for example, includes wall, pendant, ceiling and garden lights; Amalfi connects wall lamps, hanging lanterns and garden posts. A shared family gives different fittings a recognisable connection. The entrance and garden need not use identical lamps to belong together. You can also combine different families through a common finish, leaving each area its own decorative character.
Brass, with a considered finish
The rustic shades, maritime lanterns and decorated arms offer different ways of working with brass. Their surface treatment is part of that choice. In our antique brass finish, bronzing and tumbling are followed by a clear matt protective coating; satin bronze is darkened and finely brushed by hand before its protective coat. Our finishes guide explains these treatments. The options available depend on the model, so a coordinated scheme begins with the finishes shared by the fittings you choose.

Follow the design into the places you want to furnish:
- Outdoor wall lights for entrances and facades, from compact maritime fittings to decorative arms.
- Outdoor pendant lights for a table beneath a porch or a covered entrance.
- Outdoor ceiling lights with a fixed connection to the roof and no hanging chain.
- Garden lamp posts in single-light and three-light versions to continue the design among paths and planting.
